Hello, Im a 19yr old powerlifter but do olympic lifts as assistance but obviously would love to get better at them.

I do powercleans and push presses mainly and snatches (new to these btw)

I did 80kg powerclean and push press for 3 reps nearly all out, maybe 4, and I learning technique on snathes with 30kg for 10 reps plus front squats, its hard to hold the weigh over head donig front squats but im getting better.

Hop you guys can help me, I have created a post asking for help please

Athletic achievements: Current School Record holder in the the Shot Put at Lewis University. State finalist in the Shot Put for high school in 2005.

Interests other than weightlifting: All Throwing events in track and field(Shot, Discus, Hammer Throw,...), Strongman, Powerlifting, anything to do with athletics.

How did you get started/involved in weightlifting?: When I was 12 a teacher pointed at me and told me I looked like an olympic weightliter, over the summer I broke my shin and couldn't figure skate anymore and ended up weightlifting.  I was on the provincial team 4 months later.
Years involved in weightlifting: 1998- June 2002 as an athlete, 2002-2007 as a spectator, referee, sometimes participant 2007 and beyond an athlete again

One day, my father and his friend said that if I lifted 85 lbs. over my head that they would give me all the change in their pocket. I made the lift, received the money and thought Wow! this sport will really pay off. Boy, was I ever wrong.
