How did you get started/involved in weightlifting?: Lifting weights and gradually evolved to weightlifting.
Years involved in weightlifting: Good few weeks now. I've always power cleaned, but now learning the rest.

How did you get started/involved in weightlifting?: I left powerlifting because I just always wanted to learn olympic style weightlifting, and I never regret leaving powerlifting

Athletic achievements: none to speak of. I did win a local deadlift meet, years ago,lol

 How did you get involved with weightlifting:In 2000 I took the lev. 1 CAC weightlifting course to apply oly-lifts to my athletes I was coaching. 4 years later I started my own training centre and weightlifting club.

How did you get started/involved in weightlifting?:

I was an Ice hockey player looking for extra conditioning/strength so i enlisted the services of a trainer who is a weightlifting coach.. he got me hooked on it.

Years involved in weightlifting: only been doing it for about 5 months so far! (was an ice hockey player for 11 years )

Athletic achievements: State player for ice hockey, inline hockey - weightlifting nothing yet, but a pathetic 185kg total PR @ 77kg bodyweight

Favorite weightlifter: Le maosheng, li hongli - these buggers are awesome to watch

Interests other than weightlifting: ice hockey, sports in general.

I was doing a lot of powerlifting and I met a weightlifting trainer at the gym and got hooked on it

How did you get started/involved in weightlifting?: Was exposed to power cleans when I was in high school.  I always really liked doing them.  I learned about olympic lifts through college courses and USAW certs.  After undergraduate I decided I wanted to start weightlifting because I enjoyed it so much.

Years involved in weightlifting: 1 year of serious training

Athletic achievements: None to really mention, participated in wrestling, soccer, through out college and dabbled a little in track and field in college

Role in weightlifting: Just starting out haven't competed yet.  Teach olympic lifts and variations to athletes.

Coaching/educational credentials: Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS), USAW Sport Performance Coach and Club Coach, Masters Degree in Human Performance
