Hello People.

I'm 42 and live on the Isle Of Wight UK .

I started Olympic lifting in 79 at the Vectis weightlifting club here on the Island.

I developed a knee problem quite early on so had to resort to Powerlifting which is as you know a little easier on the joints . I had two operations to ease the problem.

I had to abstain for proper lifting for a few years to concentrate on work and family ect .
I have four children from age 21 to 11 and now things have settled somewhat I'm ready now to make a return to lifting.

I've been dreaming that I'm Snatching and jerking for a long time now,so I guess it is time to do something about it.

Any advice from you guys for an old git trying to make a comeback would be very welcome . ):wlfter
