Is there a logical reason why the lifters have hip numbers?
I have seen several fall off during lifts, and fortunately nobody has suffered a career-ending injury slipping on one.
Even the back numbers are not sensible -- are the lifters going to be in some kind of crowd situation like a triathlon?
If there's a serious worry about the display/scoreboard going out, isn't it also possible all the lights could go out and make the pin-on/post-it numbers invisible?

I agree w/ Mark Davis --

is as dishonest as it is futile."
