Who ever is going up against the Russian golden girl Oxiana Silvenko is going to have there work cut out for them.  Look at the thickness of her lats as she jerks!!  No wonder she can hold 157 kg over head.  Thanks again Alex .

At 1:31 the camera pans to the audience and you see a Russian father and son wildly celebrating the Russian lifters. They stayed at the same hotel as I did.  I talked to them in my crap russian at the pool.  He works in the town of Shakhty in the Rostov Oblast region . He went to the same mining institute as Vasily Alexeev and was a lifter himself untill he seriously hurt his leg.  But at any rate he made the journey to Chang Mai at no small expense to himself so that his son may experience the "joy of weightling".  I think he succeeded.  He was very pround of his countrys strong tradition in the sport and rightfully so.
