Ilya has his original childhood coach listed on the iwf site as his current coach, Pak Riloriy. Alexy Ni is a coach from the soviet system but they brought Turkileri aboard for some new influence. They explain that their system is a combination of all 3. Alexy Ni is the head coach of the national team, Turkileri is the assistant so to speak. At least that is how I interpreted the situation.

Ilya was brought up on the Soviet system since he was a kid. I did see Turkileri on the sidelines coaching Ilya with Ni at the 2005 worlds though, so hes been influencing him for a while.

56kg:1.QINGQUAN LONG
        2.KUM CHOL CHA
        3.ANH TUAN HOANG

62kg:1.XIANGXIANG ZHANG
       2.YONG SU IM
       3.LAZARO RUIZ

69kg:1.HUI LIAO
       2.Shi Zhiyong
3.TIGRAN MARTIROSYAN(maybe dabaya could get a medal, but only if someone Zhiyong or MARTIROSYAN will have a bady day c&j)

77kg:1.OLEG PEREPECHENOV(he will finally get a gold medal, he was so close in athens)
       2.Khachatryan Ara
       3.Davtyan Georg

85kg:1.ANDREI RYBAKOU( he will do a new world record in snatch 188kg in c&j he will do more than 205 kg maybe 212kg for amazing 400kg total)
2.YONG LU ((misses a big winning clean and jerk more than 215 kg, like dave said)
3.Straltsou Vadzim (belarusian team is very strong)

94kg:1.ILYA ILIN (the same like in santo domingo 1.ilin,2.kolecki,3.konstantionov) but he will do a 233kg
       2.SZYMON KOLECKI 225kg in c&j
       3.Konstantinov Roman

105kg:1.ARMANU ANDREI (armanu and dolega will both snatch 200kg or more but in c&j armnau wil be too strong, but I think that also dolega will do more than 230kg in c&j)
         2.MARCIN DOLEGA
3.DIMITRY KLOKOV (he will beat lapikov although lapikov will have advantage in snatch)

+105KG:1.CHGIGISHEV EVGENY (finally he will do what  he is capable, at least 210 in snatch and finally 250kg which mean 460+ in total)
           2.SCHERBATIS VIKTOR
           3.STEINER MATTHIAS

OTHER predictions: 77kg is the most unreliable evrything can happen, but I dont belive that sagir could get a medal, he will probably again start with a huge weight, and like in lignanao no total for him, but this is all very unreliable, maybe even some guys like charniak can get a medal)  For all categories I choose a realistic predictions except in 94kg where ilin ilya will really have a lot work.Nobody mention ARMANU ANDREI as a top favourite in 105 kg I think that he will be another level in 105 kg, he is just too strong in c&j for dolega and klokov, you know what he did in belarusian competition, he was very close 205 and 245, ok I know that he wont be so good in beijing, but 200 and 235 is realistic.
Rybakov will have a trouble if he wont do 188kg, or if he do just start weight which probablly will be 180 kg.I love too see him ilya and chigishev on 1. place.Very interesting will be what Akkaev Khadjimourad can do.We havent seen him on big competition since athens.

I think is fun to predict results, so do it!!!!

56kg - Long (CHN)
62kg - Chinese
69kg - Tigran Martirosyan:  going a bit out on a limb here but his lifts at the Euro's were not near his limit.  He has the history of doing well at the Euro's then looking like a rookie at the worlds but i think he we turn it on this year.
77kg - I wanted Stoitsov but he's out, Pereptchenov has a shaky at best jerk and Sa has not snatched big in a major contest.  Sagir looked horrible at Euro's.  Perhaps it will be Li Hongli's turn.  I'll pick Pereptchenov.
85kg - Rybakov will win.  Lu will be close but Rybakov will probably total 400kg.  I really don't see Lu doing any more than he did at the trials.
94kg - About as difficult as the 77's.  However Ilya Ilin will win even though in the recent world weightlifting he said he was only doing 160 and 200.  The rest are too inconsistant.  Kolecki, Pashaev, Russians and Kasabiev don't always bring their A-games.
105kg - Andrie Aramanau will win.  He will have competition in the snatch but I think he will pull it out in the jerk.  This class is stacked with 6+ lifters capable of 190+snatches with Aramanu, Lapikov, Klokov, Dolega, Tesovic, Akmetov, Biravand, and possibly Razorenov.  This will be the class of the Olympics.
Supers - Matthias Steiner will win.  He is by far the best looking super.  Scerbatihs is too old.  However if Chigishev snatches like old he will be close but his jerk looks bad a press with half-hearted attempt at shuffling his feet.  Also Shymechko should snatch 200+.

very good polde I think you are close to spot on here , good luck
There is no shortage of stories where a small business person has been hit with tens of thousands or more of legal costs from their own lawyers. Then there is the potential of having to pay for the other sides legal costs if the small business person loses

HI, Illin, aranmau and scerbathis will win their classes... I have no idea about the other classes...  Illin: you guys worry about the 2 years lay off from competition... I expect him to come off a big juicy cycle  :)wink and he will tear his competition appart. Aranmau is no match for dolega and others... dolega is too unconsistent so are the russians the only one who had a shot at aranmau was Berestov but russian politics... scerbathis is too old ? he's an oldie that's for sure but he lifts like no one else, he had a bad day in the snatch at european and still pulled off 252. He looks like he has gaz in the thank to handle steiner and chigishev.

Berestov was not held off the team because of politics. He has a herniated disc in his back that causes a lot of pain in his knee and thigh which was visible at Euros. He had to pull out because of this injury.
