here are a couple videos of my clean and jerks from today. the 113 is a pr. Obviously the bar is crashing on me. It always has. It's one of my biggest issues. Anyone have any tips asa to how I can meet the bar at a better place or move my arms faster? Sorry there are doubles of the videos.

I don't know how to solve the problem but it looks like you'll be lifting a lot more weight soon. Lots of potential!

It could be an issue with your pull, you don't involve your hips / glutes AT ALL in the lift. This is the strongest functional muscle in our body for weightlifting. The bar never comes in at the top of the second pull. Notice on most top lifters the bar will actually hit the top of the thigh / pelvic region, the bar is about 3-4inches away from you at this point in your pull.
However, that may not fix the problem of the crashing. You need to work from the top of the hang on just jumping under cleans and meeting the bar properly. Some elite lifters use a little bar crash to their advantage to propel themselves into a bounce out of the squat but your crashing is a little extreme. Work on jumping under from the high hang from a paused position. Lots of practice with that should cure it.
