Another great example. Clinton pardons a billion per year drug kingpin. Bush flies 5,000 TONS of cocaine into a little town called Mena in Arkansas. An eye for eye, a life for a life. If you do it..thats fine, but don't try to prevent me from doing to same thing if in doing that it puts me on the same level as you.

Who the F are we to decide what another leader in another country does? Are we in charge of world? Is it ours to do w/ what we want? Of course not It makes me think of the totally ludicrous idea that we can control our country by voting for president. < That sooo F'in funny its sad. There is no way in hell a few select billionares are going to allow for second they're golden gooses to be killed. Kennedy tried w/ his attempt to break up the CIA and some lone loser (Oswald) w/ a $20 junk rifle and broken scope pulled off precision shooting world class marksmen could not have pulled off from that window in those conditions on a moving target. Seemingly unrelated points but a common thread of perception of whats right or whats wrong. It may be relative to some, to some not. Ask Louis Riecke or Bill March about what they think. Why was Dianabol great when it at least perceived to be helping the US Oly Team in 1960 and worse than heroin for Shane Hammon in 2006?

Why was it morally acceptable to enslave blacks but not now? Why was it morally acceptable to annihilate the American Indians but not now? Why did we once count blacks as only part of a man or not count women at all? Why was it okay in the industrial revolution to dump chemicals right in to water, etc?

It wasn't. Humanity is learning, slowly. What you are saying is that we should give up all sense of morality and just let anything go. Very scary.

PS
Please watch the hinted profanity. It isn't necessary or allowed.

I will make this really simple for you Mark since you still have a problem comprehending it. Go here http://www.iwf.net/iwf/sport_org/anti_doping_info/anti-dopping.php download and read.

If you take the stuff listed as banned you are cheating period. It doesn't matter how much you complain about your personal view on the subject. Those are the rules, abide by them or get banned.

I also think its kind of funny how you come on here and your first post is basically in favor of anabolic steroids and how its hypocritical that the US tests its athletes. You might think about who ( members of the USOC, IOC, Meet sponsors etal) read these forums and visit these sites.

Just a thought.

That said, I am done with the thread.

LOL. Our first flame war. Everyone please remember the rules- attack the argument, not the member. That said, I am done with this thread, aside from my moderation duties anyway.

Cheers

Respectfully its not a flame war. I am neither in favor or against steroid use. It just amazes me how we white american males decide morality for the world. If it suits us for the situation in question then by all means - use it, kill it, steal it, exterminate it - when it doesn't then destroy who is using or doing what we were using/doing yesterday. You can rationalize it some esoteric platitude like "humanity is learning slowly". Live as you desire others to live....TODAY! It really amazes me how everyone rightfully wants our troops out of Iraq all the while he largest US embassy in history is being built in the Iraqi desert. I wonder why........ The Iran/Isreal showdown is gonna be VERY intersting.

Then I stand corrected! grouphug:)

I think the discussion of morality related to doping was on-topic, but I think we are getting a little away from that discussion now. If you really want to discuss these other issues- getting out of Iraq (which I am against), whether someone else besides white males should "decide morality" (I think they already do), etc then I would suggest off-topic.

You're right...sorry for the hijack. It really amuses me how so many otherwise intelligent people actually beleive who sits in the white house decides US Foreign Policy and domestic economics. As I said before..theres no way in hell a few billionaires are gonna risk they're fortunes on what basically has devolved into a PR campaign. Obama might get few minor admendments passed but the NWO ain't never going away....or letting nature take its course. No way in hell.

No problem. It looks like we disagree on many things, but I love the passion! And, you didn't make any personal attacks. I hope you do choose to participate in off-topic. You certainly have shaken things up today! :)thumbsup
