Am I training too much?

Well I been at it since November of last year and you guys have seen my thread about my form, anyways is five days a week too much for me?? I started doing 5 days a week 2 weeks ago in order to practice more often and lift a lot more weight hopefully..anyways, how much should i be training at my current level? thanks

I would stick with four... but just don't lay around on your days off. Do some other sort of physical activity you enjoy.

ehh...theres nothing else I'd rather do, and nothing else I enjoy doing. I dunno, it keeps me busy if nothing else.

id only squat 80% or higher 3 times a week. lifting 5 times a week is fine if you arn't going too heavy every day and this is the only sport you are in. if you get beat up then just take a week off and reassess the situation.
obviously it is different for a more advanced lifter

5 days a week can be done without a problem but you have to be smart and patient. Make Monday a heavy snatch day with light clean and jerks and moderate OHS Tuesday light power snatch, clean and rack jerks. Wednesday heavy squat and light snatch and clean and jerk. Thursday would be the same as Tuesday. Friday Heavy Clean and jerks, light snatch work and moderate front squats. Always do a lot of stretching and ab work. Pefrom 2-3 sessions through the week of some shoulder (rotator cuff) remedial work. This type of program would be high volume, low intensity with a focus of form in the classic lifts. That is what I would focus on.
