Topic: 85 kg class Canadian record clean & jerk

Slow day today so I will post a video I edited last night, Yvan Darsigny's Canadian record lift of 188 kg in the 85 kg class at the 2002 Senior Nationals hosted by Valleyfield, Quebec. Tacked onto the end of the video is his lifting at the 2003 Nationals which were in Vancouver, organized by Guy Greavette.

I saw that lift, at the time I was 12 at the time and I believe it's the best off the platform memory I have in the sport, It still sends shivers down my spine...

why did this guy clena and jerk so much there and not so much the next year thats kinda a big gap 18 kg he must have not been training????? hopefully that sthe reason

My intention in adding his lifts from 2003 was just to show additional footage of him lifting. Can't always be at our best Quin especially since at the time the lifter in question was just training for the fun of it.

noo im happy good canadian lifter but it just made me wonder i dont know him or anything never saw his name around before really except in those comps and  just thought it was funny that his total dropped 18 kgs but thta can be with out training.
