I see improvement.

I thought (with only one viewing) that the snatch at 3:15 was one of your better ones (a quicker one too).

You have too much tension in your arms at your chest before you jerk and your lockout (in the jerk) could be tighter.  Here is a way to help your lockout in the jerk-
-hold a towel over your head (in proper position) with your jerk grip.
-try to stretch the towel with your arms straight.

Holding a tight lockout in the jerk is about triceps, if you you push your hands toward each other (take the tension off the towel) your lockout will be too soft.

Pick your front knee up and push your hips "down" more aggressively in th jerk.

Your persistence is paying off.  Continue to be patient (with yourself) and persistant.

Thanks and the possible reason my lockout was bad on jerk even with light weights is because my rear delt i think, on my right shoulder, doctor said nothing really to do about it but i could get some medication for it..uhh..yeah..thanks for the tips though

I watched the video from 3/18.  I notice the chump in the background doing some depth jumps in the background is wearing body building gloves.  I guess he doesn't want to get a blister on his hands from doing those:)rotf 

Your snatch is looking better, but you need to bend your elbows.  Your arms are staying straight and the bar is doing a big loop.  Take the elbows to the sky and then punch the bar overhead.  This will keep the bar closer to the body and more importantly in a vertical plane over your base of support (the feet).  Add the muscle snatch (a slo-mo, arms only snatch) to your warm up progression to get the feel for it.  Then progress to power snatch with the bar from a high hang.

Keep working hard and get with a coach in your area if you can.

Hey thanks for the tips, I will try what you say, it can be confusing over the internet sometimes, I guess I should raise my elbows more..mmm..well.I will warm up w/ muscle snatch, I did that actually for my first time in the other video from earlier this week. I can't have a coach near me and I am probably moving (cuz of family) to Bulgaria in a couple of months for school and stuff... I'll try and work something out there. On Saturday I am going to train with Oleg Kechko from OK Weightlifting, my friend is his trainee. I am looking forward to that and I might tape some of that...but thanks for the tips and keep them coming I will not stop until I learn the technique, so then I can have some fun and lift heavier things :].. take care man
