New Lifter

Folks:
There is a new lifter that is interested in clubs in the DC area.
I sent him the link from the USAW site for clubs; however, if you could chime in that would be great.
Below is his e-mail addy and where he will be at.
Regards,
CWLC

Furthermore, I'm going to be moving to the D.C. area in April and would like to continue O-lifting. If you know of any facilities close to the zip code of 20762, please let me know. This area is about 10 miles southeast of downtown D.C..

We are in the process of getting a club together in DC itself. We train out of a private PT/ athletic training place in North West DC, where I also run conditioning classes. We will be getting our second platform in a week or so, and will be registering with USAW(as Capital Barbell Club) as soon as two of us do the certification in Hummelstown. You can see we are starting from the ground up, but we want to promote weightlifting in the nations capital. Anyone who is in the area would be a welcome addition.

Hi Tom,
Could you forward your info to Eric?
He is a crossfitter, but has great potential in the quick lifts.

Mark, I will email him today. Actually, I have been teaching CrossFit since 2005, and working with coach Burgner led me deeper into weightlifting. Thanks.
Also, always good to have another Ohioan around. I'm from Cleveland.
