« on: Dec 30, 2007, 09:59 AM »
What the **** happend to the weightlifting videos from Jalipo? I was kind of enjoying them because they covered the entire event and they have been gone for a while, uhh, I dunno but it was like the best for 2007 WWC.

Generally, such a service isn't going to store them indefinetely as its hard to make money on doing so and it costs money in server resources. This is another reason why the USAW should consider my video proposal, which really is a tremendous offer to them which I got no response from. Here is where they were but I don't see them there now though I didn't look very hard: http://www.jalipo.com/epg/#/EPG/genre/Sport

If you don't find them there, you might try emailing them and asking: support@jalipo.com

yeah they definitely deleted them because I have not been able to find them for some time now, it was great watching it like once though, ugh, makes me a little angry and sad. I emailed them asking though.

Let us know what they say please. If they aren't available on their service, you might rely an offer from the Weightlifting Exchange to host them permanently with full credit given according to their desires. Maybe they would be willing to do it since they really lose nothing and might see it as free advertising. If so, I can provide them with FTP access or they can snail-mail discs to me.

Thanks

Hey sounds great Chris, I'll let you know what they say as soon as I get a response, that would be awesome if we could have all that footage they had, it was really sweet!

An update: I have received a reply to my email inquiring about the weightlifting videos that they took off their website. However I recently sent a new email telling them about your proposal Chris. I also have found that they added a couple of the weightlifting videos back, but only up to the 77 kg class.. So I'm really hoping they add the rest that they had because it is awesome.

That's cool - nice work Alex. I still have some credits with them. The weightlifting videos that used to be free samples are now requiring credits but they were not the videos in high demand though I watched them many times.

Up to 77 kg is all I need :P
