Protein Intake: Effect of Timing. Jay R. Hoffman, PhD, FACSM, FNSCA, pages 26–34.

This is the citation for it because it is several pages long and didnt know if I should post the whole article.  Chris let me know what I should do concering posting the article or not.

Andy, each journal's policies are different. You need to check in/with the article/journal to see if they allow the complete article to be reprinted when credit is given. I believe it is always legal to post the abstract however.

It is from the strength and conditioning journal and I have no idea on thier policies.  It is sort of a lit review on some research on nutrient timing.  Here is the abstract...but it is pretty vague.

Differences in protein requirements for athletes and nonathletes, and different types of athletes (i.e., endurance vs.strength/power) are well acknowledged. This has led many athletes to use protein supplements as a means of achieving required protein intakes. Recent research has begun to examine the importance of protein timing. Specifically, does it make a difference when the protein is ingested in regards to augmenting the acute physiological response to a training session or in enhancing recovery from exercise. This review focuses on the timing of protein intake and its effects on skeletal muscle remodeling.

Yea, the NSCA does not allow reprinting in full of their articles.
