So I have had this cold that has been going around. It will be a week now tomorrow. I was going to take a few days off from lifting because this thing is beatin me down. Plus, it is destroying me in my lifts I have no strength. I cant sleep cause I am up all night caughing even with taking medications. But, this lady at work today told me that this cold can last like 2 weeks. I can't stop lifting for 2 weeks, Ill go nuts. So what do you suggest I do to modify my program so I can get through this cold?

andy, we all been sick , lol some are sicker than others ...lol :roll:best thing i can say , just do flexibility work , & light classic lifts , just enough to get warmed up and streched out, and listen to your body , if you push your self your lifts will continue to go down , over do it and youll be sick a lot longer ! be there done that ! hhhmmmm dont forget the chicken soup!

Good advice Jack.
Any form of fitness can fatigue the body and slow the recovery process and weaken the immune system even more. Get your sleep, take appropriate meds and drinks lots and lots of fluids. And get some chicken soup.

Well now I dont feel like a complete wuss about this cold. I finally saw the doctor today per my works urging cause I keep taking partial days. I not only have a cold but it is developed into bronchitis. I was wondering why this little cold kept kickin my butt.
