Members will now receive 25 karma points for every new member that registers listing them as their referrer. Someday I plan on having prizes for top referrer and stuff but for now at least you get to have high karma so everyone knows you are awesome.  beer:)

The auto-embed audio/video feature has been improved to automatically detect when there are high quality version of youtube videos and then use those for the embed.

The auto-embed audio/video feature has been improved to automatically detect when someone pastes video embed code from youtube in their post, instead of just using the link, and then automatically replace that code with a simple embedded link/video. This means if a n00b unknowingly uses the embed code, the videos will not be double displayed with disabled code around all around them in a big mess I have to clean up. However, fixing this up caused a new bug where if your post includes embed code you will not be able to preview it.  It will just say "Fetching preview" forever. The mod author will I am sure correct that issue as well shortly.

Cheers

The auto-embed audio/video mod now correctly replaces youtube embed code pasted in by the n00bs who don't know you only have to use a link. It will still appear screwy on preview but will be a single video after posting. Let me know if there are problems please.  grouphug:)

The auto-embed audio/video mod will now automatically detect whether a Youtube video is best viewed in wide screen or normal screen size and will embed it in that size. I don't think even Youtube does that! Please let me know if you have any problems.  :)peaceout

The auto-embed audio/video feature now identifies whether there are HQ and HD versions of Youtube video links and embeds the highest quality version available in the appropriate dimensions. An example of Youtube HD:

Thanks for the updates Chris. Identifying myself as a n00b right away, I notice that some videos I upload play back in "high quality" and some don't. It seems random. This doesn't have anything to do with WE, but do you have an idea how that works?
