2008 US Nationals Hotel Information
« on: Oct 17, 2007, 07:22 PM »
As hosts of the 2008 USA Weightlifting Nationals, we wanted to make available to you information regarding our Host Hotel so you may begin planning your trip. The competition will be held Fri., Feb. 29 - Sun., Mar. 2 with the Technical and Verification Meetings on Thurs., Feb. 28 and the Board of Governors Meeting on Mon., Mar. 3, 2008.

Again this year, we are in the process of securing discounts on American Airlines and Continental Airlines and will forward that information when it becomes available.

Our Host Hotel for this event is the Red Roof Inn and is adjacent to the Greater Columbus Convention Center. All room reservations must complete a Room Reservation Form, which is available by emailing us at info@columbusweightlifting.org - this form will have additional information regarding the hotel.

This block is on a first come, first served basis. Competing athletes will have first priority. We are also posting a link to several other hotels in and around Columbus, OH in the event someone would prefer a lower room rate or different hotel. There are over 75 hotels with room blocks for the Arnold Sports Festival, please visit www.arnoldsportsfestival.com/h_hotels.asp

All lifting events and meetings will be taking place at the Greater Columbus Convention Center in C - Concourse across from Hall C and the Ticket Office. The Competition venue (and Warm-Up area) will be C110-115. Registration for competitors, coaches, officials, etc. will be outside of the Warm-Up Area.

As additional information becomes available, it will be posted at www.columbusweightlifting.org

Yours,
Megan Tornstrom DeFourny and Mark Cannella

Is this event at the Arnolds now just for Americans or can guests still lift at the event?
