Hey all

Ive been googling for days and mailed the thai weightlifting fedederation, but I cant find a place in Bangkok where I can do weightlifting.

Do any of you people know a place to lift or where I can achieve this information?

Greetings

Jeppe

I have also wondered about where to do weightlifting in Thailand, though not in Bangkok.

I've never been there, but my insight from living in Korea and communicating with their national federation is that a phone call beats an email any day.

just pick up the phone, give it as try

To help with understanding the person's answer it would help to be as familiar with the city as possible

If you have trouble then try calling them in Chiang Mai

I have the same question about Doha, Qatar as you do about Thailand. I am going to make a phone call but if anyone has first hand info I'd love to read about it.

Check out the Thai Japan Youth Center in Din Daeng (Soi Mitmaitri).

Directions: Get a taxi and tell him to go to "Sanam Geelah Thai-Yipoon Din Daeng." Alternatively, most buses from Pratunam or Victory Monument that go to Din Daeng pass the end of the Soi. Not to be confused with the Japanese funded Thai Japan Cultural Center in Din Daeng.

Membership is 40 baht per year (!). Bring your passport and two photos.

Is it close to any BTS station?

All my navigation here is made in relation to BTS stations...
