Just one question, why are there no Chinese lifters?

No particular reason. I guess the best explanation I could give you is that I am not a personal fan of any particular Chinese lifters and don't have a lot of pics and video of any of them. Once I am done with the American side of things, I will begin expanding the international tributes and will surely get a few in there.

Just some lifters I think you should include

Zhang Guozheng (69kg) - Won the gold medal in 2004 at 30 years old, also won the 2007WWC at 33 years old. Holds the 69kg C&J record; 197.5kg

Shi Zhiyong (69kg) - Won the gold medal in 2004 as a 62kg lifter, then moved up to 69kg. He holds the world record in the snatch in the 62kg category; 153kg

Zhang Xugang (77kg) - Double olympic champion, in 1996 and 2004. Clean and jerked 195kgs at 70kg in 1996! He also held the olympic torch at the opening ceremony in Beijing.

Btw, all those 3 lifters use the squat jerk style.

(If you want more information/pics/vids of Chinese weightlifters, I'll be happy to help, I'm really fascinated by the Chinese weightliftes and their training methods!)

I'm all for help. I have been trying to recruit editors for the HOF for a long time. The more people contributing, the more awesome the HOF will be. As an editor, you could add or edit galleries. Its a very easy system to use. Let me know if you are interested.

Thanks

No worries. You can specialize in Chinese lifters. I will send you a link to a video that explains how to use the system and cover a couple things to keep in mind.

Thanks

The Hall of Fame now includes a tribute for every American Olympian as well as some non Olympian Americans. There are still some Americans worthy that do not have tributes and WE will add them in time. Thanks to Frank Rothwell, Les Kernodle, Jim Schmitz and all the other generous contributors for their assistance in this recent HOF expansion. There is still some material that should be coming in soon for some of the American tributes and I will add the material as it comes in, but other than that I will probably be taking a break from the HOF before adding any more tributes. Aside from a few more Americans, the next priority will be to fill out some missing internationals.

If you enjoy the hall of fame, donations would be appreciated to help support the effort.

Thanks very much!

By the way, although the standard I have tried to set for entry in the Hall of Fame is a little subjective on the edges, one thing is not. NO coaches officials, fans, supporters, managers, or supervisors will be added to the Weightlifting Exchange's Hall of Fame. This is not to say their contributions aren't spectacular, but the only way in is to earn it on the platform.
