On October 11-12 the Republic of Korea held its National Sports Festival where different provinces competed against each other in many different sports.

Jang Mi-Ran, 2x World Champion in the women's 75kg+ category competed, and managed a 126 kg snatch and 174 kg cj for a new event record.
