OK, here's a little more refinement. It's tough for the old bones to get in the right starting position and to stay there so I worked on that. The high heels on these Do-Win shoes don't help starting but they help in the squat down position on the lifts. I try to keep my back flatter and have but my heels together to allow a deeper starting position. The result a PR PS with 60 Kilos....Hopefully someone is learning from my mistakes.

The second lift looked strong. I could tell you tightened your back a little more than the first.

I hear you on the shoes. Mine are similar. I have very poor ankle mobility so I need them. Hurts the pull, but helps the squat.

Here's a new PR! 70K. I get a little excited! I know I still bend the arms a tad. Now I'm just 50 lbs away from my best of 35 years and 25 lbs ago!

great video on the 70kg snatch, your facial expression after the miss was priceless.  It'll be a great feeling when you smash the pb's you set as a youngster. Keep it up.  ):wlfter

Great intensity, Pete! And it must be nice to have such a cheerleader to urge you on during your workouts.

How far away are you from your PB's as a teen?

As a 148 pounder I did about 210 lb snatch and cleaned around 270. I was good for a kid now I wanna be good as an old dude! If I can just keep from hurting myself from pushing too much. I forget I'm not a kid anymore sometimes....well, most of the time!  Thanks for asking!
Pete

I was 15 here for an opening snatch. Think I was 132 at the time.
