Hunter Forte To Attend USOTC Camp

Hunter Forte, an eighth-grader at Rutland Middle School, has been invited to Colorado Springs, Colo., for a winter weightlifting camp at the Olympic Training Center. Hunter is one of 10 14- to 15-year-old athletes in the nation chosen to attend the camp and work with the top coaches in the country.

The camp begins on Dec. 27 and ends Jan. 4. Athletes will train daily and work to improve their fundamentals in preparation for national and international competition.

Recently, Forte won first place at the Adirondack Open in Albany, N.Y., and plans to compete again next month in Connecticut.
