My First Snatch In Over Thirty Years

I always loved the snatch. Feels good to get down low and catch it just right!
My knees are not happy about it though. I know the form is a little rough. I sure would like to see this slowed down. It's 135 lbs, a far cry from the 210 I did as a kid and 148Lbs. But at least it's a start and it feels good to get back into it. Now, if I can just stay injury free!

Pete,
You jumped back too much on the first one. Nice correction and save on the second one.

Nice snatch Pete, you're pretty limber
You have a good cheerleader too!
Though I am seeing you bend your arms as soon as you separate the bar from the floor. Old habit?

Thanks Shaun! I did a couple weeks of stretching and light weight work before I tried getting down. Also had to wait for my Do-Wins to arrive. They have a higher heel which helps. I'll start doing a lot of taping and self analysis.
