Rob was nervous before his first competition--the 35th Annual Sea Festival in Surrey, BC.
but, he warmed up well, and lifted great 5 for 6--and i've seen his 3rd Snatch given Good Lift.
Looking Good, Rob. train hard for your next competition.

Rob,
Great job on the 1st competition! That first time on the platform is nerve racking no matter what your age or the level of competition.
Keep training hard and you will get more comfortable with the lifts. You're hitting most of your positions fairly well but it looks like you think about the positions too much. Keep training hard and your body will take over and everything will look much smoother. Once you put in another 2 years training I'll bet your total will be about 100kgs more than it is now.
Keep working hard!

Nice lifts Rob!
Your last lift in the Snatch was a tough one to call. Your jerks are awesome
. Keep up your training.
