I am not cutting for anything special I just have a lot of fat to lose. I don't know what percentage fat I am but when I was in Korea I was measured at about 24% bodyfat using bioelectrical impedence @73 kg.

No offence to anyone in Florida but one of the reasons I decided against pursuing teaching in Florida earlier in the year was that I was told by multiple people that the Florida public school system is horrible. My only possibilities were going to be in Orlando or Miami (and only possibilities, not necessarily job offers) and I had visions of myself in the movie "Dangerous Minds" (1995). And I'm certainly not an ex-marine.

I can't compare our educational system to anywhere else because I just haven't been there. But, I pretty much feel like a prison guard. Its really bad here. The kids can barely speak English. A large percentage can barely read and don't care. I've had my life threatened at least 20 times, probably more like 50. The school I am at averages about 4 arrests per weeks, usually for weapons. No one is allowed lockers because the kids use them to store weapons and drugs. They are also not allowed bookbags, but they get weapons in anyway. The administration will not support anything from the teachers. Basically, anything the kids do except brandishing a weapon or attacking someone is allowed. The kid that was smacking the girls around, threatened them, and then threatened me was back in my class the next day with no punishment whatsoever. Eventually, I will come to a situation where I will have to strike a student to defend myself and then they will hang me out to dry probably. I am trying like hell to get out before it happens.

Cheers

Dane,

I wouldn't ever laugh at an Olympian and former two time senior national champion who issues a challenge.  Can't we all just get along?  :)grouphug

Dane, apparently I am considered eligible for masters lifting in Canada, and we masters lifters need to stick together :) Solidarity!
