USOEC USOEC Salutes Collin Ito

Collin Ito of Vista, Calif., was selected by USA Weightlifting as the athlete of the semester. The NMU junior earned one gold medal and two silvers in the 105-plus-kilogram class at the Junior National Championships in Merrillville, Ind. He finished the competition in second place. Ito also competed at the National Collegiate Championships in Reno, Nev. Ito earned an individual bronze medal, helping the USOEC Team finish first overall.
