Im competing in the 77kg class, i weighed in at 76.4kg, with a pretty avg bf % - last comp i cut more to get lighter but who cares as long as you're under right?

I needed 186kg total to qualify for the state champs/nationals, and this is how it went down:

Snatch attempt 1: 75kg
Snatch attempt 2: 80kg (equal PR)
Snatch attempt 3: 83kg (PR)

C&J attempt 1: 100kg
C&J attempt 2: 103kg (PR)
C&J attempt 3: 106kg (PR)

Total: 189kg

This is an improvement since my first comp which was 175kg total, and 186kg was all that i needed to qualify for the nationals in a few months, so im pretty happy with my performance

The only other 77kg lifter that beat me actually broke the australian junior record for snatch and C&j and qualified himself for the world juniors so i cant be too unhappy about being beaten by him..

I just uploaded the video using revver as that seems to be the norm for this website, however as i literally just uploaded it may not have been processed yet. If that is the case, i have it uploaded to youtube also:
Video of the lifts is here:

Awesome stuff Rowan! 3 for 3 is never anything to scoff at, and setting 3 personal bests has to feel great.

You really didn't allow those attempts to look even remotely difficult, great control and power there man...

in training my 80 snatch has been quite difficult, and i had never attempted 106c&j, most i had done in training was 102 and failed..

the comp days i guess you just find that extra bit of juice because you're right, they didnt feel all that difficult at all!
