69/77kg lifter, recently finished a 'supercompensation' type 2 weeks training, really taxing the nervous system and after a couple of days recovery came a new pb! any feedback appreciated.

It looks like you bent your arms pretty early. As soon as the arms bend you lose a ton of power.

Work from the high hang and below the knee. And focus on curling your wrists under and turning your elbows out.

Cathal, another PR, well done. You will be in great shape and very competitive for this years nationals.
Some of the technical errors are still persisting in you lifts though (particularly the arm bend as Ryan mentioned). This doesnt seem to have improved since the last few clips of your lifts I watched. Are you still working at very high intensities? (ie 90%+ of your Max)
If so, it is unlikely that you will make changes to your technique at such heavy weights. What about a few lighter, technique days, where you stay around 70-85% and really drill keeping the arms straight and relaxed in the snatch.
Maybe you are doing this already though...

Hi Cathal,
Nice lift, as usual it looks very strong!
I agree with both of the lads, the arms are bending quite early so maybe rotating them out a bit more might prevent this.
Maybe it's just me but your feet seem very far apart in the starting position?? You might get a bit more height out of the bar if u use a narrower stance allowing you a bit more time to get under the bar in the heavier lifts.
Good work,
Nathaniel
