hey i was wondering what a weightlifters total or sinclair has to be to qualify for olympics?

Well, its not as simple as: x kg = Olympics
Nations around the world are ranked based on certain competitions, and olympic spots are alloted depending on the ranking.  After that, I guess its up to each country to decide who gets to go.  In your case, as a Canadian (I hope I'm thinking of the right guy!) you pretty much have to be #1 in Canada (based on Marker).  Assuming we even get a spot.
