heres how my squat cleans went today:
bar warm up
95 pounds for 4 reps
135 pounds for 3 reps
and these next sets all for 2 reps
155 pounds
165 pounds
175 pounds
185 pounds
then did singles:
195 pounds
200 pounds PR!
then went for 205 pounds but was too tired and stopped right before the second pull, but im happy about the 200 pound PR clean.
today was working sets mainly i just did a couple singles for fun at the end. if i do decide to do a max day i think i have 205 or 210 in me.

thanks man, i got snatches coming up tomorow before my offday, im gonna go for a 135 pounds full snatch, my best power snatch is 135 so im gonna try to match it or beat it with a full clean, i know i can probably do it but whenever i lose a snatch i always lose it infront.

well its been a couple weeks since my knee injury and with some rehab and rest it has gotten better but far from full recovery, i did some clean pulls and powercleans yesterday for the first time since i injured my knee a couple weeks ago. basically i just did a lot of clean pulls with 135 pounds and did a couple power cleans also, since i cant do full cleans yet. also did squats for the first time with just more then the bar, went up to 95 pounds without any significant pain, let me remind u i had pain just with the bar a week ago.
today i did some snatch pulls and power snatches, did a few sets, 2-3 reps each with the power snatches. worked with 95 pounds.
my technique felt a bit off in both the power snatches and cleans, a bit more off in the snatch. but overall it was alright.
my knees will probably be recovered by the new year, another month or so. lets look now at some fantasy situations, IF i didnt get injured i would probably now be full cleaning 210-215 pounds, and full snatching 145-155 pounds, but instead itll probably be another couple months until i can start coming close to those numbers again because when i do come back in a month with the full cleans ill have to go and move the weight up very VERY slowly. and itll take another month till im back to what i was doing before in the snatches, cleans and squats and lets hope that i dont injure my knee again which in that case i will buy some rope, or a gun or find a tall building.
:D

did some power cleans, clean pulls today:
basically i started off with osme clean pulls then did a bunch of power cleans with 135 pounds. then did some clean pulls, couple sets of 2-4 reps with 185 pounds and 205 pounds. i havent gone this heavy since my knee injury started 2.5 weeks ago so the pull off the floor felt really really heavy but the second pull surprisingly didnt feel too bad, doesnt seem i lost much power in that.
also before this i did some light squats. knees didnt feel too bad overall, hope to get to some light full cleans by new year but for now its light, power cleans, power snatches and squats and of course all the other upper body bodybuilding stuff.

well i reinjured the knee slightly a few days ago with the power snatches so i had to take these past few days off, i did a few clean pulls today, a couple power cleans, and around 10 reps of snatch high pulls at 61 kg/135 pounds done in 3 or 4 sets. power cleans and clean pulls done also at same weight of 61 kg.

so i did some snatch and clean high pulls today, did about 20 reps total in a number of sets, weights ranging from 135-155 pounds, knee felt fine on these. also did a few reps on squats with the bar but knee gave me some trouble so i had to stop. i really hope the knee gets better soon, im dying to do some snatches and C&J.
