well i did some high pulls today in both of these, for snatch pulls i did 135-165 pounds, and for clean pulls i went from 135-185 pounds, about 10 sets total, 2-3 reps a set. had some pain in the knees but not anything major so i went on, we'll see if the pain was for real tomorow when i get up which is when the pain starts to come in the day after the workout.

my knee has gotten better since i last updated, and in the past few workouts i started doing full snatches again, during the workouts i feel the pain but its not too bad. as for cleans i feel much more pain in these, even at very light weights, but this was a week ago so i want to start doing them soon and see how it goes.
as for the snatches, i actually made a pr in the full snatch since i did not full snatch much before the injury, i did power snatches. but going back to the pr i made 125 pounds for a double yesterday and tried 135 pounds a few times but i was just too tired, and missed it, ive missed it for 2 straight workouts so i hope ill get it the next time :D
i actually think this is probably just me not having that much practice in the full snatch that is why i didnt make it, because i can high pull 135 pounds pretty easily and have muscle snatched and power snatched it (with bad form
) before. so in the next couple workouts i think i can make it just with more practice to get more comfortable with the lift, i believe if i had very good form like chris and others i could make 155 but that takes time :x

in the weightlifting portion of my workout today.....
i did full snatches, when i did them the pain in the knees was not bad so i continued, im very inconsistent lately....i actually accidentally either power snatch the weights parts of the time and sometimes miss even light weights. i can understand this as newbie mistakes and because of that things like i just mentioned happen. i started off with:
95 pounds, 2 sets and 2 reps each set.
then 115 pounds and i actually missed it once before doing it for 3 reps.
125 pounds, missed it the first time and then got 2 easy power snatch singles, i was planning to full snatch it but it just jumped up there, surprised me.
went for 135 pounds for the 3rd workout in a row and missed it for the 3rd workout in a row, i know i have this in me and its really ticking me off i cant get it, im not gonna try this for another few workouts, ill get my form better.
u know these weights some of the time i miss and they feel really heavy and then the next set i power snatch them when i intended to full snatch them, atleast my second pull is good and i keep my arms straight, just gotta work on dropping fast each time.

havent updated in a bit but ive been working still on the snatches in that time.
I did full snatches yesterday in my workout, heres how it went:
warmed up with the bar
95 pounds for a few reps
115 for a few reps
125 pounds for a double
then missed 135 a couple times before finally getting it but i dont think it wouldve counted in competition since my left arm wasnt locked out when i caught it after the second pull, but i still got up with it so i think next time ill try it ill get it.
overall my form has improved so im happy with that.
i also did about 10 reps of light power cleans, my knees still hurt doing a full clean so ill hold those off for a while and continue to do power cleans.

wow havent updated this for a while, here how my weightlifting part of the workout went:
squats
warm up, 135 pounds, 185, then 205 for 4 reps, 225 for 5 reps, 245 for 4 reps, last workout i got 245 for 6 reps, felt weak today on these, form was off a bit.
power snatches: didnt do much of these today, just a couple singles at 135 pounds, dont wanna hurt my knee doing full snatches, ill start doing them soon. my knee has healed from the injury but still im being careful.
powercleans: after the injury ive just been going light but today was the first time i went a bit heavier.
135 pounds for 2 reps
135 pounds for 2 reps
155 for 2 reps
175 for 2 reps
185 for 1 rep
my best ever powerclean from the floor is 195 so i only lost 10 pounds in the 2 months that i havent gone heavy. still my knee isnt comfortable with full cleans so ill hold those off for another little while.
