Team Savannah Wins 11 Classes in American Masters

Team Savannah captured 11 first-places in the American Masters weightlifting championships over the weekend at the Anderson-Cohen Weightlifting Center.

The local club won six men's and five women's categories, along with four best-lifter awards. Winning best lifter were Dorothy Gardner in the women's 65-69 age group, Rebecca Chaplin in the women's 55-59, Terri Wheeler in the women's 50-54 and Vern Nelson in the men's 75-79.
