Need space, industrial area, cheaper lease rates. Your garage if u have one. platforms, bumper plates, squat racks etc. if u are a qualified coach u could put on a o-lift demo/educational at ur local elementary/high schools for recruiting purposes. get involved with ur state weightlifting association. put the word out at local gyms for those interested in lifting, u might be able to convert some "powerlifters". put on a fundraiser attach some sort of charity cause towards it. if your plan is not to profit from the club, that might illicit more donations.
I own/operate my own training facility. When I started my o-lift club I advertised in the local paper. When my lifters do well i always get the them profiled in the sports section.
