I think my mistakes are:
- I rounded my back
- The jerk technique is poor

Feel free to comment and help.

This day I powercleaned 90kg too and miss the jerk. I cant dump the weight as you see in this gym.

Gabriele,

Your back needs to be flat and/or slightly arched in the start position. At present, it is extremely rounded. Also, you need to begin the pull with the arms straight while yours are quite bent.

Don't try to "jerk" the weight off the floor using the ams. Instead, squeeze the bar off of the floor using the legs and back while keeping the back flat and tight and the arms straight and "hanging relaxed."

There are other problems, but this is where the corrections need to begin. Check the picture out for a comparison of proper to current back and arm angles.

Cheers

Thanks Chris.
I will try to fix the back and the arms first. I will study videos too.

Could I use a little bit wider grip to flat my back? Or is it a bad idea?
Another think is to make a narrow foot position and let the knee going outside a bit??

Thanks again.

Gabriele,

I wouldn't recommend widening your grip as a solution to your starting position problems and definetely advise against having the legs outside the grip.

Just arch your back in the start and straighten your arms. Begin the pull in this position at all cost. Trying to "jerk" it off the floor will most likely result in your jerking yourself out of proper position. So, only pull as fast as you can while maintaining proper position.

Cheers

Thanks.

I started to fix it and arch my back - I lost cca 15kg from my lifts for the beginning. I hope for not a long time. Plus Im doing hang snatches and overhead squats for bottom position.

I don't mean to hi-jack this thread, but I have noticed that you keep mispelling the name Gabriel.  Unless indeed his name is spelled with that varient, though I see no evidence of this.  The reason I am bringing this up is because Josh spelled it that way referring to me in the thread I created way back.  It is not a big deal, but enough of one to warrent a mention.  :D

Peace
