Weightlifting Gym in the North Denver Area?
« on: Jun 29, 2006, 05:20 PM »
I am headed to Colorado (my home state) for a family reunion and I need a place to lift weights for 2-3 sessions.  I will be staying with my sister in the Thorton area.  I will be there from July 13 through July 26 and would need a place to lift between July 21 to 26.  I will be competing at the Keystone State Games on the 29th, otherwise I would just take the time off.  I need a place  in the morning as my evenings will be filled with family stuff and tourist stuff with my wife and kids.

I will be in the mountains during the first week and have a place or 2 that I am lining up for that, so just that last week is needed.

Thanks in advance.

Paul,
I'm not aware of any in the North part of Denver, however, Rocky Mountain Lifting Club in Aurora has 2 platforms a Uesaka set and other bumpers.

(This is located one block east of Airport Blvd and just south of 6th Avenue in Aurora (east side of Denver - not too far from the Airport).  I also have a platform in my garage.  Feel free to contact me with any questions. rreichstein@faegre.com

Rick,

Thanks so much for the information.  The first part of my reunion will be in Aurora, so the location is great for my first week.  I emailed the owner (email found on website) and he emailed me back pretty quickly.  I will be lifting there at least once and maybe 2-3 times depending on my schedule later in my trip.  The website is good and the gym looks like a first class gym with good olympic equipment (Elieko) and a platform.  The website is http://www.rmlccolorado.com.
