230kg.......sounds good enough to win to me.....Anything over 210kg for me and i'll probably do a back flip.......haha.....but yeah man it's gonna be an awesome meet, i cant' wait. How much weight are you gonna have to cut to get down to 56kg?

Jim, Thanks. I'll do my best. Making weight will be hard most likely. Sean, I made up a couple clips of you from 05 Americans. I hope you like them.

Sean,
I am not sure, but its not likely. We are talking about having our own contest up here so that we don't have to drive so far. I'm hoping we can all make a decision soon as I would like to get the qualifying over with. Believe it or not, according to the rules, I am not even qualified presently in the 62s despite being the defending champion. A crazy rule in my opinion, as is the rule, in my opinion, making one qualify in the 56s to lift in the 56s. It makes much more sense to me to allow lifters that qualify in a given class to lift in whatever class they want. I see nothing extremely productive for our sport coming out of making our national-level lifters cut weight for a local meet, except of course if one wants to reduce their results....but, whatever.....

Well you didn't miss anything. The Sunshine State Games was a bit disapointing. I was the only one in the 56 class and i think there was only a couple weightclass where there were actually 3 people in each class. I can't believe I wasted all that time driving and all that money on gas and hotels to go down there and lift against myself. Oh well. Time to focus on Nationals now.......

Sean,
Sorry to hear that. I hope you lifted well anyway and training goes well for nationals. Your always welcome to come train with us here on St. Pete Beach. We lift, then hit the pool. We are having a meet soon to qualify. We will set the date tomorrow. You are more than welcome.
