I'd just like to make a note that one should think twice about lubricating an Eleiko bar. I have visited their factory in Sweden a couple of times and asked the technicians how to take care of the bar, eg. how to lubricate it. They answered that an Eleiko bar should never be opened and lubricated, it can harm the bar. So I've never lubricated my Eleiko's (bought in 1992 & 1995) - there hasn't been a need for it.
