Nick,

Nice gym!  I guess you never have an excuse about making it to the gym, finding time to get there or that the hours aren't great.

You do most things very good.  Your start position is great.  Your back angle stays the same throughout the first pull, excellent.  Your 2nd pull is the only need for improvement.  You need to keep your elbows above the bar longer.  I have attached a picture of the frame of the highest point of your 2nd pull.  You will notice your elbows are not high enough and they are already well behind the bar as you are already pulling under the bar.

Nick,

Thanks for posting video from the meet. I almost came...would have been nice to meet you.

Its hard to see much in the snatch video due to quality, angle, distance, etc. And, I can't do much with Quicktime movies (incompatible with Dartfish and most of my other video software tools).

But, I thought your jerk looked slightly forward with too much weight on the front leg at the moment of the catch in your split. Make sure to drive straight and catch the bar with the weight distributed evenly across both legs, with both knees bent.

Cheers
