David Moyer has passed away

I've just read on another website that David P. Moyer has passed away.Born on 29th April 1934,Dave was one of those rare individuals to excel in both sports - he won USA Senior National weightlifting titles in 1963 and 1971,and was also a Senior National victor in powerlifting on three occasions in 1965,1969,and 1970. According to Herb Glossbrener,Dave is the only man ever to have set open World records in both disciplines - twice on the 56kg clean & press,in 1956 and again in 1958;and also the 56kg squat record in 1971. To the best of my knowledge,at a mere 4'6" in height Dave must also have been the shortest American ever to hold a World record in weightlifting.
Yet another of the true greats of the American Iron Game has passed on to that "Hall of Fame" up above - he will be sadly missed
Regards and best wishes
