Jr. National weightlifters 4th

Alex Lee and Danny Schlag helped Team Arizona to fourth place at the recent Junior National Weightlifting Championships in Orlando.

Lee, a Gilbert High junior, won silver medals in the snatch, clean and jerk, and total weight. Schlag, an Arizona State sophomore and Mountain View High graduate, won bronze medals in the same events.

The four other team members contributing points were: Devin Clark, silver in snatch and fourth place overall; Austin Visina, sixth overall; Josh Embree, seventh; and Erin Merrill, seventh.
