help identify this "pin" USA WEIGHTLIFTING

paid a couple of bucks for this on ebay , just cause I thought it was cool , hasn't even arrived yet ,,,
but don't know where its from.
"USA WEIGHTLIFTING"
a 22mm medal , looks like it is some base metal juding from back which also looks like it had a "pin" attached at some time.
I don't think its old but can anyone help to Id it ?
