Matt,

Hey, 6 foot, or 6 foot and an inch, is all about the same when you are 5 foot 3 inches tall..... 8)    :D

But, seriously, I would say 6 foot is pretty tall to be less than a 94kg lifter.

Besh wishes for a smooth recovery from your injury.

Yeah, saw a surgeon today. Torn posterior lateral meniscus. Surgery on the 17th of Feb.

Anyone else have this type of surgery?

Matt,

I had a small tear in the meniscus as well as a partial tear of the ACL. It was repaired orthoscopically and was a piece of cake. I was walking in like a day or less I think, squatting within 7-10 days of the surgery, and up to 100% within about six weeks, as I recall.

Do your homework when you pick your surgeon and take your time in the beginning. Make sure you follow your therapists instructions and don't try to go faster. It will be fast enough anyway.  :D

yeah, I had my surgery the 17th. It was worse than they thought though. I had the meniscus torn on the back and front and there was a cyst in the ACL too. It took me a little longer to get to walking with no problems. Right now the knee is pretty good. Where the incisions are it's still a little tender.
