I heard that this year USAW is only taking junior lifters that have 100% of the qualifing total. Does anyone know anything about it, or is this just a rumor?

What is the SHW qualifying in the USA? I know I need a 346kg total, which frankly isn't going to happen in the next 2 years most likely.

The 105+ total was 340 for 2005. Remember, there are regular policy and rule changes. There may be a return to a % basis and the top eight ranked will go to the junior worlds.
The 100% rule is a break from the previous policy of sending full teams to the junior worlds. Perhaps funding is an issue?

Mike,
Jonathan Macfarlane (said in one of his posts he) is from New Zealand. I have no idea what their rules are, but our rules won't decide if he goes to JR. worlds.

I don't know how you would know unless you happened to read the particular post in which he said that.
How is Jeffrey?
