  • Tread On Me At Dire Risk
I met Naim Suleymanoglu on this trip and saw a battle between him and Leonidis that rivaled that of almost any contest in history. The stadium was packed- standing room only, with flags waving, everywhere. When Naim came out to Snatch, the Audience went mad and the roar and pounding was insane. When Leonidis came out, the crowd hissed and booed. They went back and forth this way. The Turks hissing and booing the Greek even through the lift. Finally, Leonids failed with the critical weight in the clean and jerk and, suddenly, he received cheers from these Turks who had given him nothing but boos and hisses. He flicked them off and stormed off! And, Suley reigned supreme once more.
