The American Masters was a fantastic meet! Bob Sweeney did a sensational job, as did so many others, and it was a really enjoyable time. I was really inspired by the caliber of lifters there...Masters lifting may not take the place of the Open or Nationals, but the quality of folks there seems to be getting better and better.
Big Jerry Morales was sensational, by the way! He made his lifts easily and it was a real pleasure getting to talk with him; I'd certainly hate to be the perp that Officer Morales had to take down!!
