Mark,
Are you training with Team Columbus and Mark Cannella? Can you post some video of yourself doing the lifts so we can see your problem?
Here are a list of weightlifting related literature and some discussions of some weightlifting related scientific research:

Mark if you are able to squat all the way into the hole you say that you are exploding out of you should be able to get you heels on the floor when doing the lifts also. Or are your heels also leaving the floor during your squats?

Chris to tell you the truth I dont know his last name. I have never asked him, but his first name does start with mark. Yea I can try, and put up some footage of me doing the lifts. Have to get something to convert it on my computer first.
Jeff. When I am doing squats yes my heels seem to stay on the floor, but it dosnet feel like its planted real good. I think it might be the extra weight that is making my heels stay down. If I am not lifting its pretty difficult to make them stay down, and if I do get them to stay down my body seem to arch over, and not stay straight up.
